Acceptable Use Policy

We take on categories most email platforms refuse. That only works if everyone here sends to people who asked for it, and if the line between what email allows and what mobile carriers allow is respected exactly.

1. Why this policy exists

OneMoreSend runs shared sending infrastructure. One account that mails people who never asked for it damages delivery for every other account on the same reputation, and on text messaging it can get an entire business blocked by the mobile carriers. This policy is the line we hold so that does not happen.

It applies to everyone who uses the platform, and to anyone sending on a customer's behalf. Breaking it is a breach of the Terms of Service.

2. Consent is the whole rule

We do not judge a send by how many people receive it. We judge it by whether each of them agreed to hear from you. Consent must be given by the person themselves, knowingly, for your brand, and for the channel you intend to use.

  • Agreement to receive email is not agreement to receive text messages. Collect each separately.
  • A pre-ticked box is not consent. A phone field required to complete a purchase is not consent.
  • Lists that were bought, rented, scraped, appended, swapped, or inherited from another brand may not be uploaded, whatever the seller told you.
  • Keep the evidence: what the person saw, where, and when. We may ask you to produce it for any individual contact, and we may suspend sending until you do.
  • If a list has gone more than twelve months without engagement, re-permission it before sending to it again.

3. Never allowed, on any channel

These are closed. There is no approval route.

  • Anything illegal where the recipient lives, and anything promoting it.
  • Child sexual abuse material, and any sexual content involving minors.
  • Phishing, credential harvesting, malware, and messages that impersonate another brand or person.
  • Deceptive sender names, forged headers, misleading subject lines, and cloaked or redirecting links.
  • Fraud, pyramid and matrix schemes, chain messages, and work-from-home income claims.
  • Payday and short-term high-interest lending, debt relief, credit repair, and crypto investment offers.
  • Prescription-only medicines, controlled substances, and counterfeit goods.
  • Hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence, and content degrading a protected group.
  • Adult services, escort services, and sexually explicit material.
  • Third-party lead generation and affiliate traffic, where the recipient never heard of the advertiser.

4. Email only: categories mobile carriers refuse

The categories below are welcome on email. They are permanently barred from United States text messaging, and that bar is not ours — it is imposed by the mobile carriers through the registry every A2P sender must pass. The restriction applies to the whole business, not the individual message, so a merchant selling any of these cannot send even an order confirmation by text.

CategoryChannels
Cannabis, CBD, hemp, kratomEmail only. Never SMS.
Vaping, e-cigarettes, tobaccoEmail only. Never SMS.
Gambling, betting, sportsbook, casinoEmail only. Never SMS.
Firearms, ammunition, accessoriesEmail only. Never SMS.

We will not register a text messaging campaign for these businesses, and we will not accept an assurance that the messages themselves are unrelated. Attempting it risks the sending reputation of every other customer, and carrier penalties run to five figures per violation.

5. Allowed with approval

These are the categories most platforms turn away and we do not, provided you pass review first. Approval is per account, in writing, and we can withdraw it if a carrier or upstream provider changes its position.

CategoryWhere it may be sent
Supplements and nutraceuticalsBoth channels, subject to the claims standard in section 6.
Peptides and research compoundsEmail freely. SMS is transactional only — see section 7.
Alcohol and other age-restricted goodsBoth channels. SMS requires a date-of-birth gate before consent.
Telehealth and practitioner-led programmesCase by case. Health data must never reach the platform.

Review looks at your storefront, your claims, your opt-in, and the paperwork behind any licence the category requires. Tell us before you add a new product line that changes your category.

6. Claims about health and results

Most rejections in the categories we serve are not about the product. They are about what the message says about it. Whatever you sell, messages sent through OneMoreSend must not:

  • Say or imply that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease.
  • Promise an outcome, a timeframe, or an amount of weight, muscle, or hormone change.
  • Name a prescription drug, brand or generic, including GLP-1 medicines, or suggest an equivalence to one.
  • Give a dose, a protocol, or any instruction that reads as medical direction.
  • Imply endorsement or approval by a regulator that has not given it.
  • Present a testimonial as a typical result when it is not, or omit a required disclaimer.

Claims about a product's benefits need competent and reliable evidence behind them before you send, and we may ask to see it. If you sell on subscription or auto-ship, the message and the checkout must both state the recurring charge, its frequency, and how to cancel.

7. Text messaging

Text messaging carries rules email does not, set by the carriers and by the industry body they answer to. Alongside everything above:

  • Your brand and each campaign must be registered before a single message is sent, and the registration must describe honestly what you will actually send.
  • The place you collect numbers must show your brand name, how often you will message, that message and data rates may apply, how to stop, and links to your own terms and privacy policy on your own domain.
  • Your privacy policy must state plainly that mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
  • STOP, HELP and START must work, case and punctuation ignored, including the plain-language equivalents. One confirmation after STOP, then nothing. HELP must name your brand and give a real way to reach you, not ours.
  • Send between 8am and 8pm in the recipient's local time, and respect stricter state rules.
  • Links must use your own domain. Public shorteners are rejected by carriers and will be blocked by us.
  • Spreading the same campaign across numbers to dodge filtering, and registering a campaign that misdescribes your traffic, both end the account immediately.

8. Data you must not put in the platform

OneMoreSend is built for commerce data. Do not upload, or send us through an integration, any of the following:

  • Health conditions, diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, or anything that would be protected health information.
  • Payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or government identifiers.
  • Passwords or authentication secrets belonging to your customers.
  • Racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, sex life or sexual orientation, or criminal history.
  • Personal data about anyone you know to be a child.

A product someone bought is ordinary commerce data. An inference you draw from it about their health is not. If you need to segment on something sensitive, talk to us first.

9. How we measure and what we do

We watch delivery health continuously, per account, and act on it. Sending stops automatically for an account that, over a rolling seven-day window and at least twenty sends, exceeds a hard bounce rate of 2% or a complaint rate of 0.08%.

The brake is automatic and deliberately unforgiving, because by the time these numbers move the damage is already shared. We will tell you when it trips and work through the cause with you.

Beyond the automatic brake, we may pause a campaign, require re-permissioning, restrict a channel, suspend an account, or terminate it. For a clear and deliberate breach, notably mailing a purchased list or registering a campaign that misdescribes the traffic, we terminate without notice and without refund.

10. Reporting a problem

If you received a message you did not ask for, tell us at abuse@onemoresend.com and include the full message with its headers where you can. We investigate every report.

We may change this policy as the law and carrier rules change. Material changes are announced to account holders before they take effect, except where a change is needed immediately to stay lawful or to keep the platform deliverable.
